Fitness videos
You may be wondering, why is she talking about fitness videos? It is because I went to the local public library and got out a video by 'Self' that promised to help me get my 'best butt fast.' Seriously.I popped that sucker in my DVD player to work out in the comfort of my own home and discovered something pretty quickly - I am in too good of shape. The music was slow; the moves uninspired/lacking energy, and it was way way way too short. The end was all yoga/pilates, which I still find a little silly.
Back in July, I certainly wouldn't have predicted that I would be in pretty good shape now. It might be the judo 3x, lifting 2x, constant random cardio in my apartment, and my 500 situps every morning. (I maintain they improve my performance in clinic b/c I've stopped studying) It might also be all of the practices I mentioned in the last blog I attended up through now.
Or maybe it's Melissa's fault for pushing me through my workouts until I want to throw up, or the judo club for my expectation that I will leave practice with bruises, a broken bone, or at least a sprain - my m-p jt on my left 5th finger is currently sprained.
Last, speaking of injuries - I get to be a fight physician again!! I have the best job in the world.
